I walked down the isle to a Ben Harper song called “Forever”. And, honestly, I had no idea what marriage was about or what forever really meant. I knew TGR was the nicest person that I’d ever met, we knew we loved each other and for the rest of our future we were running on faith. So often I hear people saying that aside from wedding and engagement shots they don’t have many pictures together. We’ve spent a good deal of our relationship trying to keep up with images of our love, aside from being parents. I only have three pictures of my parents together and I cherish those so much.
With that note, I’m excited to announce my Forever Sessions. These are casual, relaxed sessions for married or committed couples. Sessions include edited files on CD, online showcase and a small album of images. During the next few weeks I’ll be sharing some of these sessions that I’ve captured for couples. Interested in displaying your love? Send me an email to: email@example.com for more information. No styled outfits or life milestone needed. I just want you to be yourself and be schmoopy. Add us on Facebook for client sneak peeks!
“Not talkin’ ’bout a year, no not three or four
I don’t want that kind of forever in my life anymore…
So give me your forever, please your forever
Not a day less will do from you”
~ Ben Harper
Just a quick post to let everyone know that I will be officially back from maternity leave as of April 10th. I am currently scheduling sessions (and weddings for 2011/2012) and will only be taking a limited amount of bookings for the remainder of the year. I’m excited to start shooting again soon but right now I’m drinking in these moments with my little man. We’re so in love!
For quite a while, I’ve been meaning to set up a referral program. The majority of my business has always come from brides/grooms and portrait clients telling others about how much they loved their images. I am SO appreciative for all of you that have done so. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!! Now that I have a few minutes to breathe, I wanted to implement a new referral program. Below are the details:
For past clients:
~Refer 1 couple that books a wedding with us, you will receive a wrapped canvas (16×20) of your choice of image from your wedding or session.
~Refer 2 wedding couples and receive a 16×20 wrapped canvas + a free portrait session certificate (you may use this yourself or give as a gift).
~Refer 3 wedding couples and receive 1- 16X20 + 2 free portrait session certificates.
~Refer a family for a portrait session, you will receive an 11×14 print of your choice.
~Refer 2 families for a portrait session and receive an 2 – 11×14 prints.
~Refer 3 families and receive a free session for yourself!
Now here’s where it gets interesting. Are you a driven bride/groom who wants to save up your referral credits and move quickly for an even bigger prize? If you book your wedding with us and then refer 3 couples (who book) PRIOR your wedding date, you will receive a 6 hour coverage package (which includes high resolution files on CD, with printing releases) for free. That’s right friends, I said FREE. Interested? Shoot me an email and I can send you all the nitty gritty information.
(Families or couples must mention that you referred them prior to booking. Items are non-negotiable, not able to be redeemed for any cash value and not transferable for other prizes. Sessions must be used within 1 year of issue.)
For those that weren’t attached to the news channels all weekend, our sweet Nashville was hit hard with storms and serious flooding. Hundreds of people are without their homes and need help, so we’re interrupting this work day post to mention a few resources where you can help out:
Hands On Nashville
If you’re a Nashville area vendor and want to help out our community:
Makes me sad that one of my favorite shooting locations is completely underwater….
We’ll be helping out locally until roads clear up and we can reach my in laws in Leiper’s Fork. Thankfully they don’t have any serious home damage but they’re unable to reach the road because the floods ripped the bridge from their driveway and they have extensive property damage.
Much love to those in our community, our prayers go out to you.
